Veracity Protocol – Physical AI for Object Identity

Veracity Protocol is building a patented Vision AI infrastructure that enables standard cameras and smartphones to read the material microstructure of an object and create its secure, non-invasive fingerprint – without labels, codes, chips, markings, printing or any physical modification. The material microstructure is unique even among seemingly identical items.

This fingerprint gives physical objects a secure digital identity and enables non-invasive serialization, identification, authentication and traceability throughout the entire lifecycle of the object. The object itself thusbecomes its own unique identifier.

Sensitive technology in motion. No compromises.

For a global customer, Veracity Protocol developed a Plug & Play Machine Vision System for fingerprinting and authentication of collectible cards and coins. Inside: a high-end camera system, powerful computingunit, controlled lighting and sensitive hardware connected via API to the cloud.

Challenge

To get the system safely across the ocean – without loss of calibration, without damage, without compromise.HaCase created a structural solution that protects the system during demanding logistics while enabling its immediate deployment in the USA and EU. Fast assembly. Repeated relocation. Stability comparable to laboratory condition.

Solution

We did not approach the construction only according to technical dimensions, but according to how the entire Machine Vision System is actually used in operation. The interior space was designed with millimetre precision to protect sensitive components during transport, maintain their calibration and at the same time enable quick assembly and repeated relocation of thesystem without loss of stability or performance.

Robust construction and materials

  • Material: We selected 9 mm birch plywood, which is highly robust. We have the best experience with it in terms of durability and long service life, which is crucial for this type of solution for safe transport and subsequentdaily use.
  • Hardware: We selected medium hardware, which represents an ideal ratio between high strength and overall case weight.
  • Branding: On the lid of the case, we engraved the client’s logo directly into the plywood laminate using our CNC machine. This ensured a professional appearance and brand visibility resistant to wear.

Mobility and ergonomics

To make handling as comfortable as possible for the user, we equipped the case with:

  • heavy-duty 75 mm rubber corner wheels ensuring smooth and quiet movement even over longer distances in airports or warehouses
  • plastic feet compensating for the height of the wheels on the opposite side, so the case stands perfectly level

Custom interior protection

The interior space was key to safety:

  • CNC milling: Using CNC technology, we milled grooves into the foam insert precisely copying the shape of the scanner. The device thus literally “locks” into the insert.
  • Lid fixation: We installed soft foam in the lid combined with a Trocellan strip that gently but firmly fixes the device from above against any movement during shocks.
  • Accessories: The case includes a separate compartment for cabling and other accessories so that everything is clearly arranged in one place.

Result

A Machine Vision System that can travel the world – and function with absolute precision once opened.

Partnership that withstands even overseas

The project connected two customers, one common requirement: flawless delivery of highly sensitive technology.

HaCase designed and manufactured a transport solution precisely tailored to the Machine Vision System. Every detail fit with absolute precision, enabling safe delivery of the device across the ocean – withoutcompromise in protection and without loss of professional impression during handover to the end partner. “HaCase designed and manufactured a transport solution fully respecting the construction of our device. Every element was processed with maximum precision, which allowed us to safely deliver the system to the customer overseas without any risk of damage or loss of calibration. The overall execution also appeared exceptionally professional during the handover.” - Tomáš Juřica, Senior AI/CV Engineer, Veracity Protocol

Case in brief

  • Flightcase designed according to the real operational use of the Machine Vision System – not only according to technical dimensions. Interior constructed with millimetre precision for maximum protection of sensitive components and preservation of calibration.
  • Safe overseas transport of highly sensitive AI hardware with regard to handling, logistical load and long-term use by the partner in the USA and EU.
  • Robust construction from 9 mm birch plywood and optimized professional hardware ensuring high mechanical resistance while maintaining efficient weight.
  • Mobile and ergonomic solution equipped with heavy-duty wheels and stabilizing feet for easy handling and stable operation directly at the installation site.
  • Precise internal fixation from CNC-milled foam with lid securing and separate accessory compartment, designed for safe repeated relocation of the system between workplaces.
